Synopsis: The White Apache of the Blue Mountains.
During the Apache genocide, many Apache had to resort to extreme measures in order to survive the extermination. Geronimo's family was no exception. Geronimo left part of his family hidden in the Sierra Madre Occidental. His daughter Victoria was among them. She was married to Zebina Nathaniel Streeter -- aka Johnatan Casimiro Streeter, aka The White Apache. Streeter would remain as head of the group of Apache that lived hiding in La Sierra Madre. In August 1886, Geronimo surrendered in Sonora, and then he was sent to the U. S. Reservations; where he remained prisoner until his death in 1909; Not being able to fulfill his eternal desire to return to his beloved blue mountains of the Sierra Madre in the state of Chihuahua, México with his family that he had left hidden and in the care of his son-in-low the Apache Blanco Streeter.
Streeter must elude the bounty hunters who were looking for him to collect two prizes of five and two thousand pesos or dollars, in a equal value, that the U.S. and Mexican governments have offered for his head. Streeter is a deserter of the army. He was wanted for helping the Apache inside the Indian Reservations by providing extra food rations, blankets for the cold, medicines, drinking water, and among other goods. Apache people were dying mostly due to malnutrition, diseases and starvation, and because of it, the Army wanted to hang Streeter. Streeter realizes this and escapes to join the band of Chief Juh and Geronimo in Old Mexico, until June 1889, when he fakes his death to reappear a month later in July 1889, among a group of foreign investors in Valle del Fuerte, Sinaloa, taking charge of the Tastes Canal as Colonel Streeter.
However, Streeter must use a series of different names to survive, until he finally adopts the name Juan Ramón Holguìn, staying with it until his death in 1935. Holguin has a secret meaning, which I explain in the book. A series of current events try to elucidate if Streeter is Holguin, until finally a DNA test confirms it.

Durante el genocidio apache, muchos apaches tuvieron que recurrir a medidas extremas para sobrevivir al exterminio. La familia de Gerónimo no fue una excepción. Gerónimo dejó a parte de su familia escondida en la Sierra Madre Occidental. Su hija Victoria estaba entre ellos. Ella estaba casada con Zebina Nathaniel Streeter, alias Johnatan Casimiro Streeter, alias El Apache Blanco. Streeter quedaría como jefe del grupo de apaches que vivían escondidos en la Sierra Madre. En agosto de 1886, Gerónimo se rindió en Sonora para después ser enviado a las reservaciones Indígenas de los Estados Unidos, donde, permaneció prisionero hasta su muerte ocurrida en 1909, no pudiendo cumplir su eterno anhelo de regresar a sus amadas montañas azules de la Sierra Madre en el estado de Chihuahua, México con su familia que había dejado oculta y al cuidado de su yerno el “Apacho Blanco” Streeter.
Streeter debía eludir a los cazadores de recompensas que le buscan para cobrarlos dos premios de cinco y dos mil pesos o dólares, en una paridad igual, que los gobiernos de Estados Unidos y México habían ofrecido por su cabeza, respectivamente. Streeter es un desertor del ejército. Se le buscaba por ayudar a los apaches dentro de las reservaciones indígenas, proporcionándoles raciones extra de comida, mantas para el frío, medicinas, agua potable y entre otros bienes. Los apaches estaban muriendo en su mayoría por desnutrición, enfermedades y hambre; por lo que el ejercito de US.A; quería colgar a Streeter, quien se dio cuenta de ello y escapa para unirse a la banda del Jefe Juh y Gerónimo en el Viejo México, hasta que en junio de 1889 finge su muerte para reaparecer un mes después, en julio de 1889, entre un grupo de inversionistas extranjeros en el Valle del Fuerte, Sinaloa, haciéndose cargo del Canal de los Tastes como el Coronel Streeter.
Sin embargo, Streeter debe utilizar una serie de nombres diferentes para sobrevivir, hasta que finalmente adopta el nombre de Juan Ramón Holguìn, permaneciendo con él hasta su muerte en 1935. Holguín tiene un significado secreto, que explico en el libro. Una serie de acontecimientos actuales tratan de dilucidar si Streeter es Holguín, hasta que finalmente un Análisis de ADN lo confirma.
