Synopsis in English: Gerónimo. The Saving Of Our Apache Roots.

As human beings we are deeply rooted in our past. Our parents and grandparents, all the ancestors that preceded us form the roots that feed the intangible family tree. When these roots are unknown to us, if our ancestry is lost or when there are secrets that our elders keep hidden from us this missing knowledge is like a big rock that squashes the roots of the tree and does not allow it to develop fully.

While analyzing my own personal history a family therapist declared that my own heritage was in ruins. That too many things were kept a secret and thus weakened our ancestral roots. 
This realization reverberated in my mind: that the missing connection with our family’s past, the lack of understanding of our history were the cause for my family's path to self- destruction. Depression, suicide, frequent accidents, health problems, my lacking eyesight: I felt that all these incidents had their origins in our family’s severed ties to its past.

 My concerns extended beyond my own person.  I wondered how I could fix the problems of my family tree.  I was urged to do something, to act and to bring light into the tree or it would be destroyed. That, for example, my eye problems could worsen in the future for my descendents. Or that it could affect my grandchildren’s health, which could be born blind or even with some other incapacity. These negative prospects for my descendants were the motivation for me to start this research for our genuine ancestral roots.
Little did I know that by working on this book so many secrets would become unveiled and that these discoveries would become part of the solution to heal my family tree . I am a strong believer in God, and I mean the direct divine intervention of God.

 By investigating my heritage, I also found out about the Apache genocide, about Geronimo's reasons for hiding part of his family,  about the hideout in the Sierra Madre in the state of Chihuahua, since Geronimo met three of his grandchildren born in 1881, 1882 y 1883 of the nine brothers and sons of the marriage of his daughter Victoria and the White Apache,  the former American military Streeter who deserted the army to join the gang of Chief Juh and Geronimo in the Sierra Madre of Chihuahua, México,  where he would adopt another name in order to survive the Apache genocide.

At the beginning of the research, I experienced the loss of my eyesight. I turned to God and prayed, asking for mercy and the return of my vision to continuo the research of my heritage I have been working on. So God set the pattern to follow. God lead me on the path to discover my genuine ancestral family rots and finally, this book is the result of a long investigation work for more than a dozen of years, from zero to the full certainty of our families’ real ancestral belonging, corroborated by various testimonials.

Los seres humanos estamos profundamente conectados con nuestros ancestros, con nuestros padres, abuelos y todos los antepasados que nos precedieron. Son raíces que alimentan el árbol genealógico inmaterial. Si nuestras raíces son desconocidas para nosotros, o si hay secretos que nuestros antepasados no han revelado, estas partes que faltan se convierten en una piedra que aplasta las raíces del árbol genealógico y no le permite desarrollarse plenamente.  Mediante un análisis de mi historia familiar, un terapeuta familiar descubrió que yo, la autora del libro, tenía una herencia genética  débil o raíces ancestrales equivocadas.    Esta constatación me sacudió, porque la falta de conexión con el pasado, el desconocimiento de nuestra historia ancestral familiar, era la causa de la inclinación de mi familia hacia la autodestrucción. La depresión, el suicidio, los accidentes, los problemas de salud, mi propia ceguera: todo esto era causado por la conexión cortada con nuestra genealogía histórica familiar correcta.  

Mis preocupaciones iban más allá de las mías y  me preguntaba cómo podía arreglar los problemas de mi familia, de  mi árbol genealógico,  y  quitar la piedra o bien revelar el secreto o secretos que obstruían  al árbol genealógico.  Para que mis problemas de visión no empeorasen,  para que la salud de mis descendientes no se viera afectada. El temor por el futuro de mis descendientes y por el de todas las generaciones futuras fue lo que me motivó a iniciar esta búsqueda de nuestros orígenes y que estos descubrimientos serían parte de la solución para sanar mi árbol genealógico.   Este libro es, por tanto, el  trabajo de una ardua investigación sobre las verdaderas raíces de nuestra familia que corresponden a mi árbol genealógico a través de  la intervención directa de Dios, en quien creo firmemente y quien me dio la pauta a seguir para encontrar nuestras verdaderas raíces ancestrales.     

A través de mi investigación, encontré información sobre el  genocidio  apache, sobre las razones de Gerónimo para esconder a parte de su familia en la Sierra Madre de Chihuahua, México, sobre su hija Victoria o Victoriana, casada con el "Apache Blanco",, padres de nueve hijos nacidos entre 1881 y 1901, de los cuales Gerónimo conoció a los tres primeros, nacidos en 1881, 1882 y 1883 y quienes eran la esperanza de Gerónimo para que su descendencia y su raza  no pereciera, sino que sobrevivieran en libertad y tuvieran larga vida.     Al principio de la investigación, perdí la vista. Me dirigí a Dios y le pedí en oración perdón por mis trasgresiones y las de mis antepasados, y misericordia y, que me devolviera la vista, para continuar con investigando mis raíces ancestrales.  Para mí, Dios establece la pauta que debo seguir para encontrar las verdaderas raíces de mis antepasados y este libro es el  resultado de esa larga investigación,  de más de una docena de años, desde cero hasta la plena certeza de la verdadera pertenencia a nuestros antepasados, respaldada por numerosas referencias y además también por testimoniales.
